مراجعة منتصف الموسم في البوندسليغا: تقييم شامل لكل الأندية
in the Bundesliga. Jens Stage has been a standout performer, leading the team with seven goals. If Bremen can maintain their form and continue to pick up points, they could very well secure a spot in European competition for next season.
VfL Wolfsburg
Current position: 11th
Current top goalscorer: Jonas Wind (6)
Grade: C
Despite sitting in 11th place, Wolfsburg’s performances have shown promise. After ending 2024 with two losses to Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund, they had previously enjoyed an impressive eight-game winning streak across all competitions. This leaves them just four points shy of a European qualification spot while still competing in the DFB Pokal quarter-finals. Ralph Hasenhüttl has instilled stability within the squad after earlier struggles near the relegation zone.
Union Berlin
Current position: 12th
Current top goalscorer: Benedict Hollerbach (3)
Grade: D
The winter break finds Union Berlin without a win in their last five matches, raising concerns about their form as they look over their shoulders at potential relegation threats. Following this poor run, Bo Svensson was dismissed from his managerial role just after Christmas. The new coach will face challenges improving a side that has struggled offensively; with only three goals from their top scorer and just one away victory all season.
FC Augsburg
Current position: 13th
Current top goalscorer: Pillip Tietz (5)
Grade: b>C
Augsburg finds themselves where many expected at this stage of the season—six points clear of relegation danger but not entirely safe either. They have managed to take points off teams around them but suffered a heavy defeat against Kiel before the break that serves as a warning sign for future performances.

< p > St . Pauli would have gladly accepted being outside of relegation places at this point . Their recent victory against Stuttgart provided both table movement and confidence boost . They’ve shown capability against higher-ranked teams , yet need to capitalize on opportunities when dominating play . Surprisingly , St . Pauli’s away performance is significantly better than home games , which is unexpected given expectations for Millerntor-Stadion.
If they can improve home results slightly , survival chances look promising.< / p >

Overall , it’s been challenging times for Hoffenheim under two different managers without any noticeable improvement since Christian Ilzer took charge ; winning only once during his tenure so far despite tough fixtures including balancing European commitments .
If things don’t change drastically soon enough into New Year then another managerial change may be imminent unless results improve quickly .
In conclusion , Bundesliga clubs are gearing up for an exciting second half of what has already proven itself unpredictable thus far !win total this season.
FC Heidenheim
Current position: 16th
Current top goalscorer: Marvin Pieringer (4)
Grade: E
If second-season syndrome is a thing, try adding European football into the mix. The rise of Heidenheim has been special but they’ve really struggled trying to juggle both the league and Europe this campaign. Heidenheim are going strong in the Conference League and will qualify for the knockout stages. However, the real focus must be on the Bundesliga in 2025. Without a win in the league since September 24th, they’re well within a relegation scrap. The only positive is that Kiel and Bochum have been just as poor.
Holstein Kiel
Current position: 17th
Current top goalscorer: Shuto Machino (6)
Grade: D
Holstein Kiel are exactly where you’d expect them to be; deep in a relegation battle. They have the worst defence in the league but are outscoring a few teams around them. Their win just before Christmas will give them belief that they can gather the points needed to at least push survival all the way until the last game of the season. One highlight for Kiel so far this campaign is top scorer Machino. In their current position, having a player that can possibly get 10 goals a season is massive; it’s just a question of whether they can improve their defensive record.
VfL Bochum
Current position: 18th
Current top goalscorer: Matus Bero (3)
Grade: E
The situation at Bochum is dire; played 15 games and won just once, replaced their head coach and sporting director, and already look like they’ll be playing in 2. Bundesliga next term. They’re by far the lowest scorers in the league with only 13 goals while conceding 35 along with it. The only crumb of comfort for Bochum fans is that they are unbeaten in their last two games for what feels like an eternity after beating Heidenheim right before winter break—this means they’re only four points off safety now! For Bochum, it’s about trying to reach at least 16th place rather than thinking about automatic survival—it’s been an abysmal season thus far.
